(1) First of all, their structures are different. 108khz and 113khz are microporous atomizing piece. It contains steel metal mesh, piezoelectric disc and rubber ring. There are many tiny holes on the steel disc. The size and number of holes can be customizable. However, 1.7mhz and 2.4mhz are high frequency piezo atomizer discs. It contains vitreous enamel, piezo ceramic and rubber ring. There are no steel sheet and micro holes on it.
(2) Secondly, their working principles are different. The former is parallel radial vibration. The small holes on it are tapered. The tapered holes increase the internal pressure of the holes in one direction. So it causes water to spray out. The opposite direction does not work. During the radial vibration, it vibrates more than 100,000 times a second. The water is then squeezed out of the microscopic holes, resulting in a mist.
In contrast, the latter vibrates up and down. It is better suitable for vibrating up and down at the bottom of water. It vibrates 170 million times a second. Then it breaks the water into mist.
(3) Thirdly, the mist making output and the driving voltage are different. The former fogging volume is generally smaller. For example, 108khz common atomization volume is 50ml/min. Of course, you can also add the number of holes to increase the mist output. The highest can be more than 600ml/min and 800ml/min. The latter’s atomization volume is generally 300ml/min.
The common driving voltage of the former is 5 V. And common driver board voltage of the latter is 24 V and 12 V. Actually, the driving voltage also affects the nebulizing volume.
(4) Finally, their application methods are differently. Put the back of the 108khz and 113khz piezo nebulizers in contact with the water. Or put the back of the atomizer piece to one end of the absorbent cotton swab. Then put the other end of the cotton swab into the water. Turn the switch on the driver circuit board on and it can make mist directly. Here, it must use the pure water. You have to avoid impurities in the water. Otherwise it will clog the tiny holes.
However, we can’t use 1.7mhz and 2.4mhz piezo humidifier discs in this way. You need to put the whole piezo atomizer into the water. Then switch on the driver board switch. So that the ultrasonic atomizer can vibrate and spray. They do not require purified water. Impurities or particulates in the water have no effect on the mist making.
For the piezo atomizer film metal mesh, the most common voltage is 5V DC. If piezoelectric humidifier energy conversion plate, it is usually 12V DC or 24V DC. In addition, many household humidifiers usually use the 220V AC voltage.
